Amy Larson is a dancer and Pilates instructor originally from the midwest. After falling in love with Pilates, she completed her teacher training through Balanced Body, under the direction of Lesley Powell at Movements Afoot in NYC. She also holds a BA in Dance from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and continues to perform with artists throughout the city. Amy brings an eye for detail to her sessions and classes, helping her clients gain a deeper awareness of their own bodies. She particularly enjoys working with clients to both heal and prevent injuries. She has worked with clients suffering from scoliosis, disc herniations, nerve impingements, frozen shoulder and other injuries. Her classes are geared toward a full-bodied movement experience with a focus on proper alignment and healthy movement mechanics.
